The Secret Revealed! Or Is It???

This is a direct quote from a "lesson" that My good friend Russ Aker posted in our 30 Day Mental Cleanse forum :

Think & Grow Rich Chapter 12
The Subconscious Mind - The Connecting Link
THE ELEVENTH STEP TOWARD RICHES

My whole lesson was copied from excerpts directly from the book.  Using
your conscious mind protect your subconscious mind from negative
influence.  Feed your subconscious mind with positive suggestion of your
Desires and expectations.  Then open yourself to the secret.

Napoleon Hill ~

IN EVERY chapter of this book, mention has been made of the
moneymaking secret which has made fortunes for more than five hundred
exceedingly wealthy men whom I have carefully analyzed over a long
period of years.

The secret was brought to my attention by Andrew Carnegie.  When he
saw that I had grasped the idea, he asked if I would be willing to spend
twenty years or more, preparing myself to take it to the world, to men and
women who, without the secret, might go through life as failures.

This book contains the secret.

Even before twenty years had passed the secret was passed on to more
than one hundred thousand men and women who have used it for their
personal benefit, as Mr. Carnegie planned that they should. Some have
made fortunes with it. Others have used it successfully in creating harmony
in their homes.

The secret to which I refer has been mentioned no fewer than a hundred
times, throughout this book. It has not been directly named, for it seems to
work more successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight, where
those who are ready, and searching for it, may pick it up.

If you are ready to put it to use, you will recognize this secret at least once
in every chapter. I wish I might feel privileged to tell you how you will know
if you are ready, but that would deprive you of much of the benefit you will
receive when you make the discovery in your own way.

A peculiar thing about this secret is that those who once acquire it and use
it, find themselves literally swept on to success, with but little effort, and
they never again submit to failure!

There is no such thing as something for nothing! The secret to which I refer
cannot be had without a price, although the price is far less than its value. It
cannot be had at any price by those who are not intentionally searching for
it. It cannot be given away.

The secret serves equally well, all who are ready for it. Education has
nothing to do with it.  It serves equally well for those with a good formal
education as those with little formal education.

The secret is more important, as a part of the knowledge essential for self-
determination, than any which one receives through what is popularly
known as “education.

Somewhere, as you read, the secret to which I refer will jump from the page
and stand boldly before you, if you are ready for it! When it appears, you
will recognize it.

One brief suggestion which may provide a clue by which the Carnegie
secret may be recognized? It is this, all achievement, all earned riches,
have their beginning in an idea! If you are ready for the secret, you already
possess one half of it, therefore, you will readily recognize the other half the
moment it reaches your mind.

Do not become discouraged if you do not fully comprehend all that has
been stated. Unless you have long been a student of the mind, it is not to
be expected that you will assimilate the principles upon a first reading.

Imagination, a hunch, an idea, then plan for its realization, in writing,  you
have actually taken the first of a series of steps, which will enable you to
convert the thought into its physical counterpart.  The earth on which you
live, you, and every other material thing are the result of evolutionary
change, through which microscopic bits of matter have been organized and
arranged in an orderly fashion.

Coca Cola, the old kettle and the wooden paddle, and the secret message
on a slip of paper were incidental.  The strange performance of that kettle
began to take place after the new owner mixed with the secret instructions
an ingredient of which the original owner knew nothing.

In your search for the secret of the method, do not look for a miracle,
because you will not find it. You will find only the eternal laws of Nature.
These laws are available to every person who has the FAITH and the
COURAGE to use them.

The secret is always inseparably attached to each principle.  Look through
this book and you will see the secret words attached to these principles.

~ End Quote.

The secret is the prime component of success.  The secret requires a
mastermind group of its own…the mastermind bringing the secret to a
physical reality is comprised of the thirteen principles described in this
book.  The tenth principle dances all around this secret.

Are you open to the secret and WILL YOU TAKE ACTION AND CARRY
THROUGH REGARDLESS OF THE OPPOSITION?  To do so, you must
protect your subconscious mind.

Are You Living As A Result Of Your Neglect?

This is a direct quote from a "lesson" that My good friend Tuula Rands posted in our 30 Day Mental Cleanse forum :

Chapter 12 - The Subconscious Mind

Hill writes "The subconscious mind will not remain idle! If you fail to plant DESIRES in
your subconscious mind, it will feed upon the thoughts which reach it as
the result of your neglect."

I don’t think anyone really wants to live their life as the result of neglect.
But have we, and are we living our life as a result of neglect?

Have we done things in our lives because we knew others expected us to live
a certain way?  Did we do things in our lives because we were too concerned
about what others may have thought about us?  Do we still conduct our lives
the way we do because of how much we are thinking about what others think?
If we have or are doing these things, I believe we are living as a result of our neglect.

We can also live as a result of our neglect by not doing the things we know
we should be doing.

Michael tells us, if you don’t have the results you want in your business,
get more e-book downloads.  Yet we can fool ourselves into thinking we are doing
all we can do, when in fact, we waste a lot of time on things that really don’t matter
and thereby what we get  are the results of our neglect.

Hill tells us “You may VOLUNTARILY plant in your subconscious mind any plan,
thought, or purpose which you desire to translate into its physical or
monetary equivalent.”

What we see, what we hear, what we learn, what we allow into our minds
has a tremendous effect upon every one of us. It has an effect on how we grow
and develop.

To change the habits we have acquired, we need to practice doing the things
we need to do, to result the change we want.  We need to practice beyond
the point of learning so the task becomes habit,  whether it be in
thinking or in action.  First get good at it, and only then can
we practice doing it better.

Life in the Present: A 10-Step Approach

This is a direct quote from a "lesson" that My good friend Shirley May posted in our 30 Day Mental Cleanse forum :

CHAPTER 11

THE MYSTERY OF S E X TRANSMUTATION

The Tenth Step toward Riches

This doesn’t have much to do with this week’s lesson, I know some people have a problem learning on how to live in the now. I found this explanation on Google search I reworded to suite my explanation of Living in the Now. I also realize it has nothing to do with The Mystery of Sex Transmutation. But there is a driving force telling me to just put it out there.

Michael tells us to be in the now. To learn how to do this you have to practice on being in the now, and soon it will become natural to you. Just Practice, Practice doing it.
Being present is the only way to enjoy life to the fullest. By being mindful, you enjoy your food, friends and family more. Here, the path to mindfulness.

Life in the Present: A 10-Step Approach
The idea of being mindful -- being present, being more conscious of life as it happens -- may seem contradictory to those who are used to sacrificing living for pursuing their goals, but cultivating mindfulness will help you achieve your goals and enjoy life more. In fact, you're more productive when you're mindful. But more importantly, being present is undoubtedly the only way to enjoy life to the fullest. By being mindful, you enjoy your food more, you enjoy friends and family more, you enjoy anything you're doing more. Anything even things you might think are drudgery or boring, such as housework, can be amazing if you are truly present. Try it -- wash dishes or sweep or cook, and remain fully present. It takes practice, but it's incredible.

1. Do one thing at a time.
Single-task, don't multi-task. When you're pouring water, just pour water. When you're eating, just eat. When you're bathing, just bathe. Don't try to knock off a few tasks while eating or bathing or driving. Zen proverb: "When walking, walk. When eating, eat."

2. Do it slowly and deliberately.
You can do one task at a time, but also rush that task. Instead, take your time, and move slowly. Make your actions deliberate, not rushed and random. It takes practice, but it helps you focus on the task.

3. Do less.
If you do less, you can do those things more slowly, more completely and with more concentration. If you fill your day with tasks, you will be rushing from one thing to the next without stopping to think about what you do. But you're busy and you can't possibly do less, right? You can. I've done it, and so have many busy people. It's a matter of figuring out what's important, and letting go of what's not.

4. Put space between things.
Related to the "Do less" rule, but it's a way of managing your schedule so that you always have time to complete each task. Don't schedule things close together -- instead, leave room between things on your schedule? That gives you a more relaxed schedule, and leaves space in case one task takes longer than you planned.

5. Spend at least 5 minutes each day doing nothing.
Just sit in silence. Become aware of your thoughts. Focus on your breathing. Notice the world around you. Become comfortable with the silence and stillness. It'll do you a world of good -- and just takes 5 minutes!

6. Stop worrying about the future -- focus on the present.
Become more aware of your thinking -- are you constantly worrying about the future? Learn to recognize when you're doing this, and then practice bringing yourself back to the present. Just focus on what you're doing, right now. Enjoy the present moment.

7. When you're talking to someone, be present.
How many of us have spent time with someone but have been thinking about what we need to do in the future? Or thinking about what we want to say next, instead of really listening to that person? Instead, focus on being present, on really listening, on really enjoying your time with that person.

8. Eat slowly and savor your food.
Food can be crammed down our throats in a rush, but where's the joy in that? Savor each bite, slowly, and really get the most out of your food. Interestingly, you'll eat less this way, and digest your food better as well.

9. Live slowly and savor your life.
Just as you would savor your food by eating it more slowly, do everything this way -- slow down and savor each and every moment. Tune into the sights and sounds and awaken your senses to the world around you.

10. Make cleaning and cooking become meditation.
Cooking and cleaning are often seen as drudgery, but actually they are both great ways to practice mindfulness, and can be great rituals performed each day. If cooking and cleaning seem like boring chores to you, try doing them as a form of meditation. Put your entire mind into those tasks, concentrate, and do them slowly and completely. It could change your entire day (as well as leave you with a cleaner house). Keep practicing. When you get frustrated, just take a deep breath. When you ask yourself, "What should I do now, Self?" The answer is, "keep practicing."

Singe in the U.K. Shared a book with me called Secrets by Rhonda Byrne they have a Pdf you can look at if you think it might be of some inspiration to you.   https://unrelatedposts.wordpress.com/2012/02/11/the-secret-free-pdf/ it’s 206 pages long.

This is a quote from that PDF that I like.

LISA NICHOLS
When you follow your bliss you live in a constant space of
joy. You open yourself to the abundance of the Universe.
You're excited to share your life with those you love, and your
excitement, your passion, your bliss become contagious.

How to be more “attractive” to prospects

This is an extract from Tom "Big Al" Schreiter's newsletter :

My bodyguard story.

Let's say that you are rich and famous and you want to hire a bodyguard. Would you hire me if I told you:

“I don't have a clue, but I am motivated and I can learn. Let me hang around for a while and see if I can learn by trial and error, or learn on the job. Maybe I'll do some research on the Internet.”

Ouch.

You wouldn't want me. I wouldn't even qualify for a “Pink Belt” in karate. You would want someone like Chuck Norris, Rambo, James Bond or someone that is already trained and knows what they are doing.

So how about a prospect?

Does your prospect want someone they will have to train? Someone who doesn't know the answers?

Or, does your prospect want a sponsor who knows exactly what to say and do?

Hmmm, so sponsoring isn’t really about “finding” good people, it is really about being a “good person” who your prospects will be attracted to. Yes, it seems prospects are desperately looking for someone to follow, and especially want to follow someone who knows where he is going.

Since it is more about us, let's do this.

Let's become better people with better skills.

Now, that is attractive.

At Mentoring For Free we specialize in teaching you the skills you need to become a better sponsor.   We are a team of mentors, we hold 10 free live, interactive skills training calls each week.  We encourage you to participate!

So become a better sponsor with us :  http://getfreedom.successin10steps.com/?mad=66581

How to drive like a professional.

Imagine that I don’t know how to drive, but I purchase a brand-new car. What do you think will happen?

I will crash the car quickly because I don’t even know what those pedals on the floor do.

My solution? Buy a better car. And what will happen then? I will crash the better car.

My solution? Buy an even more expensive car that won “Car of the Year” awards. Well, you can guess what is going to happen.

This is what happens when new distributors join network marketing. Because they refuse to learn the basic skills of their business, they can’t become successful in any company. And their solution is to simply quit, blame the company, blame their upline, and hope a new company will make them successful.

Companies don’t make us successful. If they did, everyone would be successful and rich.

We become successful with the skills we bring to the company.

Jumping companies isn’t the solution. The solution is within us. It is up to us to learn how to drive the car. (Maybe we should attend our upline’s Saturday morning training sessions after all.)

If you don’t have the basic 25 skills working for you in your business, here is how you can learn them.
